What is a Bulletproof Plate?
It can protect against damage caused by bullets, explosive fragments, etc.
Compared with traditional metal bulletproof plates, it can be used with soft bulletproof vests to improve the bulletproof level or as an independent bulletproof plate.
There are three types of bulletproof plates:
- Pure PE bulletproof plates
- Alumina ceramic PE composite bulletproof plates
- Silicon carbide ceramic PE composite bulletproof plates
Weight Advantage: pure PE>silicon carbide>alumina Alumina is the heaviest

WHAT DOES LEVEL III BODY ARMOR STOP?
Level 3 body armor represents the entry point for protection against higher caliber rifle rounds as specified by NIJ standards. This level of armor is designed to stop the following types of ammunition:
- 7.62×39 123gr PS Ball (MSC)
- 7.62×51 147gr FMJ (M80) – up to 2850 ft/s
- 5.56×45 55gr (M193) – up to 3150 ft/s*
*Please note: This plate is not rated to stop M855 or armor-piercing rifle rounds.
